Born in Northern California and now based in South America, I am a widely published writer that focuses on solution-based environmental journalism, sustainable food and travel, plant medicines (including cannabis), and social justice.
My work can be found in over 30 different media outlets including High Times Magazine, Vice, Alternet, Mongabay, Culture Trip, Earth Island Journal, Parabola Magazine, and Paste Magazine, where I used to write the environmental column EarthRx.
I am proud to announce that I am the new Moon Travel author to Colombia, my favorite country in the world and my home away from home for over ten years now. The first title in the series: "Cartagena and Colombia's Caribbean Coast" will be available on December 1st, 2020.
But that's not all! I am also co-editing an anthology on the role of psychedelics in the transformation of global consciousness. The book includes contributions from well-known experts like Dennis McKenna and Zoe Helene of Cosmic Sister as well as indigenous voices from Colombia, Peru, and even the Arctic Circle.
